Help & guide

How to sign up, browse the catalogue, understand prices, and make an offer.

Welcome

Buy Your Diamond is a catalogue of certified natural and lab-grown loose diamonds, sourced directly from manufacturers. This guide walks you through creating an account, finding stones, understanding the prices, and making an offer.

Creating your account

The catalogue is available to registered customers. Signing up takes a minute:

  1. Choose Sign up and enter your email, a password, and your contact and company details.
  2. Complete your profile — name, company, phone and country. These are needed before you can browse.
  3. Your account is reviewed and approved. Once it is, the full catalogue opens up.

You can set your display language and currency at any time under Profile → Account settings.

Browsing the catalogue

Filter by shape, carat, colour, clarity and more, or open Advanced filters for cut, polish, symmetry, fluorescence and certificate lab. The New arrivals toggle shows stones added recently.

You can also describe what you're after in plain language with AI Search — for example "round 1 carat, G colour, VS1 or better" — and it fills in the filters for you.

Understanding the prices

Listing prices show the net stone price. The delivered price — what you actually pay — is shown beneath it, and for imports into Germany it adds shipping, insurance and 19% German import VAT on top of the stone.

  • Net stone price — the price of the diamond itself, and the figure you negotiate on.
  • Delivered price — the all-in cost to your door, in your currency, at the current exchange rate.
  • Import VAT — shown only for deliveries into Germany, and paid to customs on clearance, not to the seller. It is generally reclaimable as input tax for business purchases.

Your wishlist

Save stones you're interested in to My Wish. From there you can ask our handler to negotiate a price on your behalf, or come back later to make an offer.

Offers and deals

Every listed stone shows a price, so you can buy it outright or make an offer straight away.

  • Make an offer — propose a net price in your own currency. The seller can accept or send a counter, and you can counter back. Offers are tracked under My Requests.
  • Buy — accept the listed price to place a buy request; the platform handler then arranges payment and delivery.
  • Deals — an accepted offer or confirmed purchase closes the deal and moves to My Deals.
